As users of UV curing systems, customers are rightly concerned about the quality of the UV irradiation and consequently, about the quality of the curing of the ink or varnish. There is a trend showing that users increasingly focus on the measurement of UV. It is simply too costly to produce rejects. Apart from that, quality management systems require that processes be documented. The uv-technik meyer gmbh offers a big variety of UV measuring devices to measure irradiances (mW/cm²) and/or doses (mJ/cm²). Customized solutions are available on request.

UV Control

The UV Control Microprocessor Integrator is UV multi-channel-measuring instrument for curing applications. It is designed to measure, record and display peak UV intensity, UV dosage and temperature.Due to its different UV sensors and the integrated microprocessor the UV Control can measure, record and display the peak of the UV intensity for each UV band individually.

UV Tube

The UV Tube Integrator is UV multi-channel-measuring instrument for curing applications. It is designed to measure, record and display peak UV intensity, UV dosage and temperature* (UV Tube 3CT) in bottle/tube machines.

UV Disc

This measuring instrument measures the applied dose thereby examining the effects of UV lamp aging and contamination. It can be used where a conveyor belt (or similar) passes underneath uv lamps, e.g. in UV-curing ovens, photo-resist exposure systems, printed board exposure systems etc…

UV Micro Puck Multi Integrator

The UV Micro Puck Multi Integrator is a high quality UV measuring system used to measure the uv dose in difficult access areas of uv curing units. With its detachable cable-less sensor unit it has numerous applications and is suitable for bottle printing machines as well as UV measuring of 3D objects.

Handheld HI 1 & UV-Sensor SI 1

The UV sensor type SI 1 are available for the usual wavelength ranges and for the UV LED measurements. The calibration is stored in the sensor connector, whereby the Handheld HI 1 can be used for all sensors SI 1, TS 1 and PMI 41.

UV-Sensor TS 1

This instrument is particularily useful in a continuous curing environment where access can be achieved via a keyhole or inspection window. This unit provides accurate reading of UV Vis, A B or C wavelengths. This is a combination of our handheld meter the HI 1 and the stainless steel probe TS 1. The probe is inserted into the area where the UV intensity is to be measured and a direct readout in mW/cm² can be seen on the digital display.

UV Spectro

The UV Spectro is a flat diode array spectrometer designed as a pass-through unit. It can therefore be used as a spectrometer for the measurement of irradiances of the individual wavelengths of uv medium pressure lamps or UV LEDs.

QSO 3

The QSO 3 is a continuous UV monitor that will give a 0-10 VDC output that is proportional to the UV received at the tip of the probe. This is mostly installed by machine OEM’s at the production stage but can be retrofitted if necessary.

QWO

This sensor was developed to allow online UV measurement of UV medium pressure lamps. The high UV intensity as well as high temperatures, which let drift normally the values, were a challenge but using the right materials and sensors makes an easy to use UV online sensor possible.

IR-Sensor PMI 41 / PMI 41

The infrared sensor PM41 measures IR radiation at 4,5 to 4,8µm. As quartz by physical reasons blocks the short wave IR radiation of the arc lower than 4,5µm, the sensor only measures the long wave IR of the quartz tube itself. As a result it measures the real temperature of the tube, nothing else.
